This year, the Filberg Festival will be adding a new parking location as the main access point to the Park & Ride shuttle. The new parking destination will be at the old St Joseph Hospital parking lot at 2137 Comox Ave, Comox BC (see map below).
Park and Ride Shuttle Details
Scheduled hours of operation are 9:30am – 6pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, 9:30am – 5pm on Monday.
Filberg Festival will be offering the Park & Ride shuttle service for $5.00 per vehicle over Festival weekend. The $5 fee will cover the shuttle transportation costs.
Additionally, Ambassador Shuttle Service will run a ‘by donation’ Park & Ride shuttle service the evening of the Friday Night Concert (Aug 3), Jully Black LIVE! In Filberg Park from the same location between 7:00- 10:00pm.
Also note: This Park & Ride service is designed to ease the parking congestion in the Filberg Park neighbourhood, where there is limited parking. Wherever you park, please obey the by-laws regarding distances from intersections, etc. Also, please do not block driveways or park in areas where we have cones, delineators or signs. The streets are narrow in Comox and we must always keep avenues open for fire truck access. Residents in the neighbourhood could have you towed if their property is compromised. The RCMP do patrol on bicycles and will tow for traffic violations.
