A gem of Vancouver Island Heritage; The Filberg Park is nine acres of breathtakingly landscaped waterfront green space, gardens and heritage buildings, in Comox, British Columbia. Open year-round, the park features 130 varieties of rare and exotic trees, seasonal gardens, and hundreds of
rhododendrons.
The Park is the perfect place to celebrate your meaningful day with friends and family.
Ceremony Locations
The Upper Meadow is a breathtaking, wide-open space overlooking the Comox Harbour and Glacier. This space will accommodate up to 200 guests.
The Grape Arbour is an alternative for larger groups and is a 90-foot covered wedding aisle covered in grapevine, wisteria, roses, honeysuckle, and Virginia creeper. This space will accommodate up to 150 guests.
The Front Lawn by the Lodge is nestled by the historic Filberg Lodge. This enchanting outdoor space offers breathtaking ocean views framed by majestic trees, lush gardens bursting with colour, and the timeless charm of the Lodge as your backdrop. This space accommodates up to 40 guests.
Big Leaf Maple Oasis is a semi-secluded, intimate area with a beautiful view of the water. This space will accommodate up to 25 guests.
The Harbourview Lawn boasts an unobstructed waterfront and Comox Glacier view. This space will accommodate up to 150 guests.
*Maximum guest counts for ceremony spaces are including all wedding party members.
What We Offer
Ceremony Venue Rental: Use of your designated area from 10am to 5pm and access to the beautiful public heritage gardens.
Ceremony Items: White plastic folding chairs, included in setup
Standard wood signing table with wooden bench
Three parking spaces
Directional signs for guests
One-hour rehearsal, including 30 minute final consultation
