Lodge Tours Are Back!

Step inside the historic Filberg Lodge from November 20 – December 18, every Thursday from 12 PM – 3 PM. Our wonderful volunteer tour guides are excited to welcome everyone back and share the stories of this beautiful heritage home. No appointment needed — just drop in and enjoy! Donations are gratefully accepted.

Enjoy the new addition – the opening of “Bob’s Office,” a newly transformed historical room inside Filberg Lodge. This immersive experience takes you back to the era of hand logging in the Comox Valley during the 1920s and 1930s, highlighting the legacy of the Comox Logging and Railway Company (CLRC), the work of Robert Filberg, and the impact this pivotal time had on the growth of our community.

We are excited to share this special space with you—one that reflects the rich history of CLRC, once one of the largest logging operations in the world, and its influence on the development of the Comox Valley. “Bob’s Office” is designed to bring history to life, with artifacts, photographs, and stories that capture the essence of that era.

Upon entering the historic Lodge you will find a treasure trove of gently used fine china, crystal, linens, silverware, jewellery, glass, flatware, pottery and art on display throughout the beautiful rooms of the Lodge. These well-loved items, that have been donated by generous members of the community have each been carefully refurbished by our dedicated team of volunteers. The myriad of donations are then creatively arranged using the spectacular interior of the Arts and Craft Filberg Lodge as a backdrop. A unique and memorable shopping experience awaits all visitors.

All funds raised from the Gift Shop are used for the care and maintenance of the Lodge. Our ongoing success relies on the donations we receive and the passion of our volunteers. To donate or to inquire about volunteering:
